How We Ship Your Cremation Memorial Jewelry
Learn how we handle every step of the shipping process for your cremation jewelry, from sending your ash kit to delivering your finished memorial. At Locked In Art, every shipment is fully insured, carefully packaged, and treated with the same respect as the artwork inside.
We take great care to ensure every part of the process — from sending your ash kit to delivering your finished memorial — is handled safely, respectfully, and efficiently. Below you’ll find details about our shipping procedures, timelines, and policies.
Shipment of Ash Kits
Ash kits are mailed to customers within 2 business days of placing an order.
Each kit includes everything you need to securely send a small sample of ashes back to us, including:
A secure ash container
Step-by-step instructions
A prepaid return shipping label (for U.S. orders only)
For international customers, return shipping for the ash kit must be purchased separately from your local courier. Once your kit is safely returned to us, you’ll receive an email confirmation along with an estimated completion and shipment date for your memorial.
Shipment of Completed Memorials
Every Locked In Art memorial is carefully packaged for safe delivery via USPS.
All orders include tracking information and are fully insured for peace of mind.
You’ll receive your tracking number by email so you can monitor your shipment’s progress.
Any unused ashes will be respectfully returned to you along with your completed memorial jewelry.
Our standard turnaround time is approximately 4–6 weeks from the date we receive your ash kit. Each piece is handmade with care and precision in our Arizona studio.
Expedited Shipping
If you’d like faster delivery, Express Shipping is available at checkout for U.S. orders only.
Please note:
Express shipping applies only to the final shipment (not to the ash kit or production time).
The production process still takes 4–6 weeks after we receive your ashes.
USPS Express Mail typically delivers within 1–2 business days once your memorial ships.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
We take every precaution to ensure your memorial arrives safely.
However, in the rare event your order is lost or arrives damaged, please:
Contact us immediately.
Do not discard any packaging materials — these are required for the insurance claim.
All shipments are fully insured, and we will handle the entire claims process for you.
Once the claim is settled, we will recreate your memorial at no additional cost.
Please inspect your memorial carefully upon arrival.
All claims for shipping damage must be reported within 3 days of confirmed delivery.
